How it works
Pick quote or invoice, fill in your details and your customer’s, and add a line for each part of the job. The preview is the PDF you download, drawn from the same numbers as you type.
VAT follows the Irish rules for building work, worked out the way QuotePaid works out every quote: 13.5% on the job, 23% when fitted materials are over two-thirds of the price, and 23% on goods you sell without fitting them.
The PDF is made in your browser when you press Download. Nothing is uploaded, not even your logo, and nothing is kept once you close the page.
Questions
No. The form, the preview and the PDF are all made in your browser, and your logo is read on your device without being uploaded. Nothing is stored. At most we count that the maker was used, with nothing you typed attached. Close the page and it’s gone, so download your PDF first.
It has a place for all of it: your name, address and VAT number, the customer’s name and address, a number, the date, the date of the work, each line before VAT, VAT at each rate, and any deposit paid. If something is missing, the maker tells you what to add.
With the same sums QuotePaid uses on every quote. Work and fitted materials go at 13.5%, unless the materials are over two-thirds of the job, when the whole job goes at 23%. Goods you only sell, with no fitting, carry 23% on their own line.
Put in the next number in your own run each time, and keep a note of it: the maker doesn’t remember anything. Irish invoice numbers must go in order and never be reused. In QuotePaid, every invoice gets its number when you send it, with no gaps.
QuotePaid does this on every quote.
